Kairali celebrated new year 2015 and this year too there was a request to sing two songs. I obliged with:

1. Deivapithave Angaye Jyangal (A Malayalam devotional song)

2. Imagine (John Lennon's classic song)

I took the liberty of changing John Lennon's lyrics a bit. I sang:

"Imagine there's heaven" instead of you know what. The reason is what John Lennon describes in the song of "People living in peace," and "sharing all the world" is actually heaven.

Probably the only college photograph that survided floods, scorching summers, and so many house changes. Notice the bell bottoms and high collar a la Elvis Presley. The cap is worn in true John Wayne western style.

Here's me in my rockstar avatar singing a Christmas song I wrote at Kairali Belapur's Christmas celebrations. The singing - surprisingly - was well received and I received many comments of it being "adipoli" meaning "cool." Here's for more!

My small ponytail is growing. However, it's an ongoing battle to make near and dear ones who advise (in a good sense, rather discreetly) to get a haircut.

At the Launch of Bright Lights Which Featured My Short Story

This is my only book launch so far. I am at the Infinity Mall in Bombay at the launch of the anthology Bright Lights which features my short story "Mr. P.K.Koshy's Daily Routine."

As Editor of Ambit, Circa 1985

This is me as editor of Ambit, the monthly journal of the Bombay Management Association. I worked hard to produce, edit, sell space for the magazine, sometimes working Sundays and staying late. I am reading a copy of the magazine I edited. Look at the real estate I occupied in those days. Around 200 sq. ft. in prime Fort, Bombay, location. But those days editors were respected and admired. I don't know how it is now.
