Here I am shouting myself hoarse during the auction in the church's Harvest Festival.

Cafe Leopold, Colaba Causeway

A picture I shot of Cafe Leopold which was attacked by terrorists on 26 November 2009. Leopold is situated on Colaba Causeway, a glam shopping and entertainment area (Times Square, well, sort of) and you can shop for shawls, antiques, clothes (both designer and local "darzi-made") and enjoy the night life in one of the most happening areas of Bombay, where the Taj Mahal Hotel and the Gateway of India is situated.

The Bombay Gymkhana (hope the name still stands and it's not Mumbai Gymkhana now! What do I care?) a prominent landmark in Bombay. Behind it is the VSNL telecom tower.

The gateway of India looks soothing in the soft lights of the night. That is, considering what it went through on November 26, 2008 when terrorists attacked the Taj Hotel just opposite it.

The Sterling As It Looks Now

The Sterling has a special place in my heart. Many are the movies I enjoyed here right from college days. Now it's a multiplex with Subway, fast food, and sundry other things besides.

Singing My Poem "Welcome to Kala Ghoda"

This is a picture of me singing my poem "Welcome to Kala Ghoda" which was composed in a workshop ("Setting Poetry to Music," or something similar) run by the Kala Ghoda Arts Festival. The workshop was conducted by Jeet Thayil and Suman Sridhar who provided insights into how a poem can be converted into music. I want to explore this a bit more, as the process of music creation holds a lot of promise, money-wise and fame-wise.
